Final Fantasy X

Soon the days of Playstation 2 will be over.Goodbye ps2 say hie to ps3~~.Well not that i own a ps2 or anything it's just that this piece of machine brings me good memories.My ex-roomie used to have one n i and him will rotate our turns in playing the ps.He usually plays the ps late at night, so that is the time i use his pc and play games.So when he is sleeping i will play his ps.It was beta year and i kinda miss my alpha housemates who all went to cyber.So yeah i was feeling kinda lonely here in Melaka so i spend alot of time with my only remaining alpha hsemate[who alter moved to cyber too..] .I hardly go out then except when to play football so ps2 was a really good loyal friend of mine.

I was always a fan of the Final Fantasy series.It all started with FF-7 for me.used to play it with my Pentium MMX PC.I forgot the specs already but yeah .. it was really really slow.Loading took a lifetime but i was so into this game,i had no problem waiting 3-4 mins in between the loading area.Imagine every single new indoor place u go u have to load... but again .. this game is special.By the way i used the Pentium mmx pc till i was in gamma hehe.But i bought a new pc at the right time .. my current pc can still play the latest games with average quality.



Back to FF tho.I quote,"Square's Final Fantasy series is one of the longest running, most prolific, most critically acclaimed lines of games ever"[gamespot] and FFX is right there at the top.I'm talking about a game will keep u at your seat for hours, non stop.It's either because u're too engaged in the storyline,the small mini games that keep u coming for more, or even because u checked the tips/tricks at gamefaqs.com and u just found out that if u keep avoiding the thunder about 500 times u will get access to one of the special weapons,n it is cool/vital to get one of these weapons.Yep,in terms of gameplay, this game have few rivals.


How bout the storyline??What kind of RPG if the storyline sucks? FFX continues the tradition of the previous FF series games with it's melodramatic but still adrenaline pumping storyline.In fact, it's superb!! It's a story bout friendship,loyalty,sacrifice and most of all, love.At times i do feel like a need a box of tissue paper beside of me because this game really touches the heart.Not to mention the super soundtrack that i must say the best soundtrack for a game,ever,period.This game basically has it all, a complete package.I think i played this game 4-5 times with total gaming hours should be around 100 hours of playing time or more.Hey, dodging thunder 500 consecutive times is not easy ok!


The most memorable scene in the game definitely is the part where Squall[hero] and Yuna[heroin] together in the lake.Wow .. talk about a romantic scene.If u play the game, you'll understand.Anyone should be in love with Yuna at this time as u assume the character of Squall and this is definitely the scene the Squall character been waiting for.The song during the scene was Suteki Da Ne n this song is really a classic.I wanted to play this song during trinite but like so many things that happened that nite, it was out of my control.I leave u guys with some of the memorable scenes in the game.
