As u guys might know,i took the title of my blog from a song, which is Incubus A certain shade of green.The lyrics seemed to confuse some people who tot it gotta do with drugs .... heh?? Just because it's green it aint weed yo.Anyway here's the lyrics and here's what some ppl think about it.

I don't see this song being abotu marijuana at all (and for all I know, I may be the only person) To me, this song is a lot like Drive. It tells you that you are the only one that can make your decisions, and do what you need to do. Don't procrastinate and wait for the right moment, or green light, if it never comes or you miss it, you'll never know what might have happened

well....hmm. it sounds to me like he's getting veeery slightly annoyed at someone who is very slow to make a decision or do..erm..something. yeh a certain shade of green as in a traffic light. he's saying they're being soooo slow that they probably wouldn't even go if they saw a green light...but wait for a certain shade...ahhaaaah. yeh, i'm BAD at explaining things.

its about waiting for change when you should make something change...hence the 2012 thing, which i bet alot of you have no idea what that is, (the supposed magnetic field shift that is supposed to make everyone ascend to the next level of consciousness, WHICH I HOPE HAPPENS, but whats the sense waiting for it if you can make it happen?) noodge...

I think it's about the fact the too many people wait around and put things off because they're either afraid to do something or just don't want to. You should just do things when you feel it or when you want to because that's when it's true, if you know you want to do something
