Well theres definitely some mixed feelings over the weekend for me.Firstly i have to say goodbye to a friend, a close friend i've known for the past 4 years.He won't be around anymore but i will certainly see him again in the future.I still remember the first time i met Raj.He has this air of confidence around him that when u see him the first time u definitely will respect him.Not to mention he is a big size fella, but it's not that factor that makes me respect him.He is a true friend.He cares for his friends and even though he does makes jokes about his friends he really cares about them.He'll listen to your problems and understands your difficulties, but u don't need to tell him that u're having problems,he'll recognize it when he sees you.And his advices in life have been very helpful to me, and his last words before leaving Malacca are still ringing in my head and i feel touched by his concern.Yes Raj i won't worry too much anymore and maybe i will go and see a doctor in the future if my coughing gets worse.Hehe .. i hate doctors lah.And of coz i will play my best for Suspect.

And for u Raj, Suspect qualified to the Presidents Cup in STYLE.These are the results.

Suspect [ 3] - 381-F [1]
This was an easy game for us.A simple error led to a goal concede but overall it was a very good game for us.This was the first time the new Suspect Fc played together in an official match.

game 2
Suspect [0] - Peace [0]
This was our second game on the same day.We were abit tired and didnt able to pass the ball around like the first game.Peace is an international team, with the legendary Coffeee playing for them.They were physically superior than us and we lost a lot of aerial battles to them.But it was a very good defensive effort from us.I hurt my ankle,bruised my knee and arm in this match.

game 3
Suspect [6] - AIM [0]
This game was played on the following day.We needed a win by a big margin to ensure automatic qualification from our group.Peace thrashed this team 4-0 so we know we must win by more than that margin.And what a performance from us.I played with the injury but once the game started i completely forgot about it.In the end we end up as group winners as Peace could only beat 618-F 2-0 later in the afternoon.

The 3 games were really satisfying for me but i know i can play better than that.And i know i have to play better as the teams in the President's Cup would definitely be better than the teams we met here.But the game against Peace was the real test for us and it shows how good we are and could be.Next weekend the tournament commence and i hope we get a kind draw.As usual it is important for us to build confidence first and step up from there.This qualifier had done just that.I did took some photos during the tournament.Here they are ..

Our keeper for the qualifiers.Always a crowd favourite, he's the smallest ever keeper to play in a mmu tournament.But hey he did make a couple of stunning saves [we only concede 1 goal in 3 games ,even tho the 1 goal was his mistake .. and almost concede a couple of others -_- .. but hey .. cant blame the guy, he only playing as a keeper coz theres no one to play there.Great stuffs Melv! :)

Ehem .. ehem .. some of the girls watching the game,giving support to their bf's or fren's team.Even though they din come for me but somehow i'm still extra motivated to play coz of them :) thnx girls :P
